Coconut Water Agar Agar Jelly

Ingredients
  • 1 pkt agar agar powder 12g
  • 80 g to 130g sugar optional
  • Flesh from 2 young coconuts
  • 1.25 litre coconut water from 2 coconuts
Instructions
  1. Scrape out coconut flesh from 2 young coconuts.
  2. Pour coconut water into a pot (use 1.25 litre).
  3. Add agar agar powder and stir until dissolved.
  4. Add sugar and stir well - adjust to taste.
  5. Place the pot over the stove and bring it to a boil.
  6. Add the coconut flesh and let it boil briefly.
  7. Scoop the coconut flesh agar agar mixture into glass containers or jelly moulds.
  8. Set aside to cool until the agar agar surface sets.
  9. Keep in the fridge and serve cold.
Recipe Notes
  1. Sugar is optional as young coconut water has natural sweetness.
    If adding sugar, adjust the amount to taste.
  2. You could also add pandan leaves to coconut water to boil.
