Layered Jello Dessert

Ingredients
Jello layers:
  • 4 pkts flavoured jello powder 93 g per packet
  • 250 ml hot water + 80 g ice cubes for each packet of jello powder
Santan layers:
  • 3 pkts unflavoured gelatine powder 7 g per packet
  • 250 ml hot water for each packet of gelatin powder
  • 50 ml santan
  • 200 ml water
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pandan leaves
Instructions
Jello layers:
  1. Add a packet of flavoured jello powder into a glass mug.
  2. Pour hot water and stir well until completely dissolved.
  3. Add ice cubes and stir until completely melted.
  4. Pour into a jelly mould and chill until set.
Santan layers:
  1. In a glass bowl, add a packet of unflavoured gelatine powder.
  2. Add hot water and stir well until completely dissolved, set aside.
  3. Add santan, salt, sugar, pandan leaves to a pot of water. Stir and bring to boil.
  4. Remove pot from flame and place in a bowl of water to cool it down.
  5. Add the dissolved gelatin and mix thoroughly.
Assembly:
  1. Carefully pour the gelatine/santan mixture on top of the jello layer and chill until set.
  2. Repeat the same procedure with different flavoured layers and alternating with santan layer.
  3. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
