Chicken and Pork Meat Balls
A versatile side dish that complements well with other meals like spaghetti, pasta bakes, subway sandwiches etc.. For soup based meals, do not deep fry them, Simply drop them into the soup and boil. It is also good on its own as an appetiser. You can also prepare them and freeze for later use.

Chicken and Pork Meat Balls
A versatile side dish that goes well with other meals
Ingredients
- 300 g minced pork
- 300 g minced chicken
- 2 tsp light soy sauce
- ½ tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 3 heaped tsp finely grated garlic
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup chopped spring onions
- 1 cup chopped cilantro parsley
- 2 tsp corn flour
- 1 whole egg
- Corn flour for coating
- Cooking oil for deep frying
Instructions

Mix well together minced pork, minced chicken, light soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper and minced garlic in a bowl.

Add chopped onions, spring onions and cilantro to the mixture and mix well.

Add corn flour and break an egg. Pour all over and mix thoroughly.

Scoop about a tablespoon of minced meat mixture and roll into a ball.

Coat each meat ball with corn flour.

Heat up a frying pan with oil until it bubbles when inserting a chopstick into the hot oil.

Carefully drop each meatball into the hot oil. Do not overcrowd the pan.

Fry until the meatballs turn golden brown.
Recipe Notes
Do not fry the meatballs if cooking soup.
Simply drop the meatballs into the soup and boil with vegetables.
