Layered Jello Dessert


A very simple multi coloured layered jello that everyone can make. Cool and refreshing dessert for that hot sunny weather.

- 4 pkts flavoured jello powder 93 g per packet
- 250 ml hot water + 80 g ice cubes for each packet of jello powder
- 3 pkts unflavoured gelatine powder 7 g per packet
- 250 ml hot water for each packet of gelatin powder
- 50 ml santan
- 200 ml water
- 3 tablespoon sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Pandan leaves
- Add a packet of flavoured jello powder into a glass mug.
- Pour hot water and stir well until completely dissolved.
- Add ice cubes and stir until completely melted.
- Pour into a jelly mould and chill until set.
- In a glass bowl, add a packet of unflavoured gelatine powder.
- Add hot water and stir well until completely dissolved, set aside.
- Add santan, salt, sugar, pandan leaves to a pot of water. Stir and bring to boil.
- Remove pot from flame and place in a bowl of water to cool it down.
- Add the dissolved gelatin and mix thoroughly.
- Carefully pour the gelatine/santan mixture on top of the jello layer and chill until set.
- Repeat the same procedure with different flavoured layers and alternating with santan layer.
- Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
